Do you wear pajamas to the Wal-Mart, or flip flops to your very conservative office job? Are sweatpants and t-shirts a staple in your closet? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you are definitely “Casual Crazy”. I have been noticing that the casual craze has definitely permeated every social and professional occasion and is picking up steam every day.
I’m sure you remember the flip flop flap regarding the Northwestern University’s national championship women’s lacrosse team. Well, about 3 years ago they visited the White House, and four of the nine women in the front row were wearing flip-flop sandals (and not even cute ones) along with their dresses and skirts, the HORROR!! I think that incident for me was the start of the casual craze.
After that, I really started noticing clothing that we would normally wear to picnics, beaches, sporting events, and the gym being worn to Broadway plays, corporate offices (including job interviews), and special occasion dinners. Here are just a few tips to help you break away from casual comfy to casual chic.
